How I Treat

• Providing personalized holistic treatment by integrating Eastern and Western medicine
• Combining traditional Eastern diagnostics, including pulse, abdominal, back, and meridian examinations, with evidence-based Western medical assessment and treatment
• Identifying individual issues through posture, gait, and movement analysis
• Promoting revitalization of the body, mind, and life force through correction of distortions in the pelvis, spine, and cranium—the body’s foundation
• Providing guidance on safe and effective self-care at home, including stretching, exercises, diet, and more
• Utilizing Eastern medicine practices such as acupuncture and traditional Japanese massage to promote the circulation of Qi and blood, and to unlock the individual’s fullest vital energy
• Emphasizing diet, sleep, and exercise as the foundations of health, and supporting patients in developing suitable habits, walking alongside their growth

I have over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry and find great fulfillment in working directly with patients in a one-on-one, face-to-face setting. During my career as a physiotherapist, I realized that while I could address muscles, joints, and nerves, true healing also requires attention to the mind, internal organs, and endocrine system. This insight inspired me to study Eastern medicine.

I chose to master Japanese-style acupuncture and massage rather than Chinese-Style methods which are characterized by shallow needling and gentle, minimally painful stimulation. In parallel, I became a credentialed McKenzie therapist, specializing in world-renowned treatment for lower back pain, obtained certification as an OTC drug sales specialist, and completed courses in cupping therapy and bloodletting, among others.

Having experienced firsthand the benefits of orthomolecular approaches for enhancing my performance, I developed a strong interest in nutrition, and I have recently begun self-studying Precision Nutrition (Personalized Nutrition).

I love being in nature and spending my days off surfing, trekking, snorkeling, or spearfishing. I moved to New Zealand to enjoy an even better surfing lifestyle and have explored over 20 countries so far. I also prioritize mental health, practicing meditation and yoga daily, and enjoy discovering a lifestyle and diet that truly suit me and keep me happy.
