Diana Wilfred

Special Interest In:

I have a strong passion for holistic wellness and rehabilitation, particularly in how massage therapy can support physical recovery and long-term health. My work is inspired by the connection between body, mind, and movement, helping clients restore balance, manage pain, and improve overall mobility.  As I continue my academic journey pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science) at The University of Auckland, I am developing a deeper understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based health practices. My goal is to become a qualified professional in the future, combining my hands-on experience in massage therapy with advanced physiotherapy techniques to help people recover, move better, and live healthier lives.

How I Treat

I believe that every treatment should be a calming and nurturing experience. During the first few minutes of each session, I gently check in with my clients while they are on the treatment bed to understand how they are feeling that day. This helps me sense where their body may need extra attention and allows me to personalise the session to their comfort and needs.

I also assess through touch, feeling the body’s natural responses, areas of tension, and energy flow. This intuitive connection guides me to adjust pressure, rhythm, and technique throughout the treatment. My goal is to create a peaceful space where clients can fully relax, unwind, and leave feeling refreshed in body, mind, and spirit.

Originally from Malaysia, I bring over 12 years of professional experience in massage therapy, having worked in Malaysia, Singapore, and New Zealand. My journey in the wellness industry began more than a decade ago, driven by a passion for holistic health and the well-being of others. For the past five years, I have successfully operated my own wellness business in Malaysia, where I focused on providing treatments that promote relaxation, recovery, and balance. My practice combines traditional techniques with modern approaches to deliver personalised care for every client.

I hold a Diploma in Beauty Therapy and a Massage Therapy Certification from Malaysia, which has provided me with a strong foundation in a range of therapeutic modalities. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science major Exercise Science at The University of Auckland, further expanding my knowledge in health and human sciences to complement my hands-on experience.

In my spare time, I enjoy staying active and connected with nature. I love going for hikes, which help me recharge and find calmness in natural surroundings. I also enjoy playing badminton, swimming, and doing daily stretching exercises, which keep my body energized, flexible, and balanced. When I’m relaxing at home, I like to play the piano and watch Netflix movies. This is my way of unwinding and enjoying some quiet, cozy time. These activities bring me joy, balance, and inspiration, which I carry into my work to help others feel more relaxed and rejuvenated.
